About Me
Hi, I’m Analiza Mabini – engineer by degree, coach by heart, and proud karaoke queen by blood.
I’m a Filipina civil and structural engineer who somehow juggles designing concrete columns, conducting financial coaching sessions, and the occasional acapella music break in my room. I may have graduated summa cum laude and ranked Top 5 in the November 2023 Civil Engineering Licensure Exam (yep, 91.50%!), but beyond the medals and math, I’m really just a small-town girl from Palompon, Leyte, with big dreams, loud laughter, and a lifelong love for helping people rise.
My roots
I grew up in a humble household powered by faith, love, and a karaoke machine that could wake the whole barangay. My dad’s an electrician, my mom’s a full-time wonder woman, and my childhood was a mix of music, movies, and moments that shaped me.
One of those moments: Supertyphoon Yolanda.
Our home was nearly wiped out. Classrooms collapsed. Lives were changed forever.
That disaster sparked my dream of becoming an engineer. I thought, “What if I could help rebuild homes and lives? What if I could design structures that could stand tall no matter what?”
So I chased that dream, with grit, grace, and my calculator.
Why I became an engineer
Honestly? Because I loved math.
And because I believed that numbers could be more than numbers, they could be tools for hope.
Structural engineering became my way of making the world safer, stronger, and better, one beam, one floor, one building at a time.
But plot twist: I’m also a Financial Coach
Some people build structures.
Some build wealth.
I decided to do both.
After experiencing burnout and money stress in college (hello, tipid meals and big dreams!) and even while working in Makati, I realized financial freedom isn’t just for the rich or lucky, it’s for the ready. So, I trained as a licensed Financial Advisor with Sun Life Philippines, not just to fix my own finances, but to help others break free from paycheck-to-paycheck living.
But outside Sun Life, I also invest in paid webinars, seminars and trainings to further develop my financial planning skills.
I now coach students, professionals, and families on how to save, invest, and protect what matters. My favorite part? When someone tells me, “Grabe, bakit ngayon ko lang ‘to nalaman?”
I also mentor aspiring engineers online!
I get it. Engineering is hard.
That’s why I use my social media to share tips, techniques, and real talk for students and board exam takers who just need someone to break things down clearly (and cheer them on, too).
From structural concepts to study hacks, I post helpful content regularly, and yep, I also upload lecture-style videos on YouTube, so you can learn at your own pace, anytime, anywhere.
Because no one should feel lost in engineering, not when there’s someone out here rooting for you.
And when I’m not designing or coaching?
I’m a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, which means I’m trained to optimize systems, reduce waste, and make things more efficient (even if that “thing” is my own to-do list).
But learning doesn’t stop there. I’m constantly upskilling, especially in digital skills, so I can reach and empower as many people as possible. From content writing and copywriting to video editing and value-packed posts, I’m learning the ropes of online storytelling, one upload at a time.
Also trying my best to sleep 8 hours a night and stay fit while eating everything I want. Balance, baby. ✨
